We believe in creating a supportive and collaborative environment for both our patients and our staff.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and manage the check-in/check-out process with a warm and professional demeanor.Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, weight, and pulse.Update and maintain patient records within our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.Prepare and clean examination rooms for patient appointments.Assist providers with clinical tasks and patient evaluations as needed.Handle incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.Manage prescription refill requests and coordinate with pharmacies, including handling prior authorizations for medications.Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with all HIPAA regulations.Qualifications & SkillsRequired: High school diploma or equivalent.Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting; experience in a psychiatric or mental health clinic is highly desirable.Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and compassion.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.A thorough understanding of patient privacy and HIPAA guidelines. recblid 7gydv8q6ee840er0dejhxwpu86xwuv
