LHH is working with a Upland area client seeking to add a Benefits Administrator to their HR Team. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA, and other voluntary benefits. They will manage the open enrollment processes, including communication, plan selection, and employee education. The Benefits Administrator will serve as the primary contact for benefits providers, brokers, and employees regarding benefits-related issues or inquiries. Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA, and other voluntary benefits. Manage open enrollment processes, including communication, plan selection, and employee education. Serve as the primary contact for benefits providers, brokers, and employees regarding benefits-related issues or inquiries. Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely manner. Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy in payroll and benefits systems. Oversee COBRA administration, ensuring timely notifications and compliance. Educate employees on plan options, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes. Monitor compliance with applicable regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA. Support the onboarding and orientation for new hires by providing training on the benefits enrollment process and being a resource for benefits questions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality. Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave programs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience as a Benefits Administrator or similar role, 3+ years overall Human Resources experience.
