GOAL: To advance the mission of Central Ohio Youth for Christ, including affiliates and subsidiaries, Overview

Key Responsibilities and responsibilities related to HR, administrative and spiritual staff support within COYFC. Responsibilities Assist with onboarding all new staff personnel to COYFC HR systems Assist with insurance onboarding and open enrollment for eligible staff Assist with tracking and communicating employee PTO Maintain appropriate personnel documentation for all employees Fulfill administrative and spiritual staff responsibilities

Position Requirements

Knowledge & Skills Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Onboard Staff Personnel

Enter all new staff personnel into Paycor HR system at the conclusion of the hiring process Assist staff with completion of necessary payroll documents Serve as initial point of contact for payroll setup and processing Set up new staff email account and provide access credentials Meet with new staff personnel face-to-face for an onboarding meeting Assist Director of Operations with other onboarding tasks as needed

Insurance Enrollment

Assist with annual insurance open enrollment process for existing staff Learn the process, and assist with onboarding new staff personnel to medical and voluntary insurance Provide staff with needed information on insurance programs and policies

HR Documentation and Reporting

Assemble staff personnel files with all required documentation and forms, making sure it is in compliance with regulatory requirements (CARF) for new hires, new hire orientation, and annual training Provide reporting to Director of Operations and other leaders as needed Stay up-to-date on insurance documentation, payroll/job change forms, as well as any other changes to a staff members employment Assist with quarterly and annual YFC/USA chartering, as well as any additional annual reporting

PTO Benefits Management

Monitor employee PTO overage and report to supervisor and Director of Operations Ensure that each employee accrues time appropriate to their role Factor in YFC/USA credentialing and job changes into PTO accrual Process FMLA requests, as well as documentation for short and long-term disability Assist with Workers Compensation and Unemployment claims Become knowledgeable on general HR policies including FLSA and FMLA

Office Management

First point of contact for employees & visitors to UAC Answer phones and forward messages Inventory and order office supplies and printing supplies Stock kitchen area and maintain clean shared office spaces

COYFC Staff Responsibilities

Promptly communicate to staff personnel across COYFC divisions Attend quarterly staff meetings as well as bi-weekly supervisory meetings Support chapter fundraising efforts by inviting a minimum of 4 guests each year to attend See the Story tours and the Be the Story luncheon Continue ongoing development training for your role as needed

Spiritual Responsibilities
