Buyer Indirect
Central Moloney is seeking a dynamic and experienced Indirect Buyer to join our Supply Chain Management team. The Indirect Buyer will play a critical role in optimizing our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this individual will focus on managing the indirect spend categories to support our overall business objectives. Procurement Management o Source, negotiate, consolidate and manage indirect categories such as MRO, facilities services, IT hardware/software, utilities, office supplies, travel, fleet and third-party services. o Develop and issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze supplier bids and make sourcing recommendations. o Manage purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Supplier Management o Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve performance, quality and service levels. o Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delivery, cost, or quality. o Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost savings. Financial Accountability o Track indirect spending, identify savings opportunities and support cost reduction initiatives. o Ensure budget adherence and provide reporting to management on indirect procurement KPIs. Collaboration o Partner with cross-functional teams (Facilities, IT, HR, Operations and Finance) to understand requirements and develop sourcing strategies. Continuous Improvement o Identify process improvement opportunities in procurement operations. Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred. 3-5 years of purchasing experience, with at least 2 years focused on indirect spend. Strong negotiation, analytical and contract management skills. Experience with ERP systems (Syteline/Infor preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
