About The Job Tailored Brands’ Enterprise Data Engineering & BI team drives our data-forward strategy, supporting stakeholders across the organization and delivering a legendary customer experience. This leadership role will build cross-functional relationships, educate stakeholders, and partner with data teams to ensure governance standards and policies adhere to industry best practices and deliver rapid, impactful benefits. The role partners with data analysts, data engineers, Privacy, Security, Compliance teams, and business stakeholders to develop and manage data governance solutions that meet organizational needs. The right candidate has strong retail domain knowledge, curiosity, a growth mindset, expertise in data management, security and compliance, and a proven track record of driving data governance practices. The role reports to the Director of BI Platform and Data Analytics. What You’ll Do | Key Responsibilities

Own the data governance processes and tools – driving the strategic roadmap for data governance and supporting an enterprise data-driven culture. Partner with data owners, stewards, information security, privacy, legal, and technology leadership teams to establish data policies, processes, and standards including enforcement of data quality, security, and management concepts. Lead and facilitate the organization’s data governance activities. Create and manage data policies & procedures. Data classification, data security, privacy & compliance. Enable and drive data stewardship & governance. Leverage a technical understanding of the enterprise data catalog to build end-user adoption, delivering visibility, integrity, and quality of Tailored Brands data assets. Partner with the Tailored Brands Data Privacy team to identify, build, and deploy vulnerabilities to our data (technical and non-technical). Define frameworks, operating models, and organizational change considerations for data governance and management in support of new and existing data capabilities. Develop and maintain a data catalog, a data lineage map, and a business glossary. Champion data literacy by creating and managing educational programs to deliver a data-driven culture and upskill the organization on self-service toolsets. Lead the implementation of metadata standards, data governance and stewardship, master data management, and data management. Establish and lead enterprise data and technology governing bodies/councils and support business data governance leaders and forums. Harmonize key policies and guidelines (e.g., Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Creation, Data Sharing, Data Usage) with processes, in collaboration with multi-functional partners. Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Data Governance programs. Experience implementing at least one end-to-end data governance framework. Experience with at least one data governance tool (e.g., Collibra, Atlan, Alation). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of corporate policies, practices, and organizational structures. Self-motivated, energetic team player with the ability to navigate roadblocks and drive results. Ability to frame strategies and communications clearly for diverse audiences. Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying data issues and anomalies. Experience with databases such as Snowflake. Familiarity with data privacy, security, legal, and compliance obligations. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment. Benefits

Hours regularly 40 hours per week, with a hybrid work location option at our Houston, TX or Dublin, CA Corporate Offices. Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods and perform typical office duties. Light lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
