Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards. Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design data models that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Develop and maintain complex DAX calculations and measures. Optimize data sources and queries for performance and scalability. Manage and mentor a team of Power BI developers and analysts. Ensure BI best practices are followed regarding data governance, security, and visualization. Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, UI/UX designers, and business units to align data strategies. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and capabilities. Stay current with Power BI updates, trends, and best practices. About You
Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling). Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL, etc.). Knowledge of Fabric capabilities and resources Strong experience in creating data models, measures, and complex visualizations. Experience leading BI projects and teams, including code review and mentoring. Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, security setup). Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse Analytics). Familiarity with other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus. Microsoft Power BI or Azure/Fabric certifications. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD for Power BI deployments. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication.
