Senior Benefits Analyst (Ancillary Lines) (Remote) full-time position within an Analyst team. The Senior Analyst will manage the marketing process, prepare analyses and presentations, and provide general support to more senior team members. The Analyst should develop relationships with broker partners and carriers and work proactively to deliver services to clients, primarily serving organizations with 50+ employees. About NFP

Responsibilities Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including: Gather marketing materials needed for a clean quote submission from broker partners Prepare RFPs and send to carriers using Excel or rating engines Collaborate and negotiate with carriers on quotes Organize data into a marketing analysis format Follow up with carriers to clarify responses Provide broker partners with a recommendation driven by RFP analysis

Ensure all client data is entered into Smartsheet in a timely manner and that documents are stored appropriately in the file system Understand, interpret and articulate carrier and vendor responses to broker partners Develop effective relationships with broker partners and carrier contacts Deliver sold case notices to appropriate carriers when coverage moves or sells Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

Knowledge of ancillary benefit plan designs, contracts, benefits marketplace, industry trends, carrier products and services Detail oriented Strong organizational skills Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications Effective time management and decision making skills Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Diligent follow up skills

Education and Experience

College degree and minimum of 5 years experience or high school diploma with at least 10 years of group benefits experience.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000, determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Equal Opportunity
