Senior Benefits Analyst (Ancillary Lines) (Remote)

Responsibilities
Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including gathering marketing materials for quote submissions from broker partners, preparing RFPs, and sending them to carriers using tools like Excel or rating engines. Collaborate and negotiate with carriers on quotes, organize data into analysis formats, follow up to clarify responses, and provide broker partners with recommendations based on RFP analysis.
Ensure timely entry of all client data into Smartsheet and proper document storage in the file system.
Understand, interpret, and communicate carrier and vendor responses to broker partners.
Develop effective relationships with broker partners and carrier contacts.
Notify carriers when coverage moves or sells via sold case notices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
Knowledge of ancillary benefit plan designs, contracts, industry trends, carrier products, and services.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and oral formats.
Effective time management and decision-making skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Diligent follow-up skills.
Education and/or Experience
College degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience or a high school diploma with at least 10 years of group benefits experience.
