Traditional janitorial tasks like mopping and dusting Requires an understanding of proper handling and disposal of biological waste Have contact with patients, family members and employees Strong communication, confidentiality and customer service skills are key Clean and maintain assigned areas in and around the hospital to ensure a neat, sanitary and safe environment Full-time position Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent desired Prior housekeeping a plus Knowledge, skills, & abilities
Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service to all customers including others on the environmental services team, employees throughout the facility and external customers Ability and willingness to follow written and oral instructions Quality and speed needed for this position Ability to lift 25 pounds or more, stoop, bend, stand and walk for an 8-hour shift or longer.
