Procurement/Sourcing Specialist II

As a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist II, you will play a vital role in enhancing our outstanding supply chain operations to new levels. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality Assurance and vendors to identify and realize improvements in quality, delivery and price Placing PO's and planning material requirements to support inventory, production, and customer requirements while maintaining cost objectives Provide input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, and backlogs Communicating Past Due PO's, reschedule requests, and expediting deliveries with our suppliers Maintaining accuracy of parts: Lead Time, Pricing, EOQ, Safety Stock, etc. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to update required data and communicate changes Required Qualifications Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related area of study. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a scientific or technical environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software; strong analytical and negotiation skills. AS 400 & Agile experience a plus. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively. Desired Attributes Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and develop solutions promptly. Attention to detail: Outstanding focus and precision in managing procurement activities.
