Position
The person in this role will be primarily responsible for providing quantitative and analytical support to investment and asset management executives while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data used to make critical investment decisions. They will interact directly with Managing Directors, Principals, Vice Presidents, and Senior Associates. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an early career real estate finance professional to join a dynamic and strategic team. Their contributions are critical to the strategic decision making process from both an individual investment and a portfolio perspective. The core responsibilities include financial modeling, management as well as other investment activities. The ideal candidate must possess a strong analytical background, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in Excel and Argus. Responsibilities
Maintain investment level Excel and Argus models that capture complex capital structure and waterfall calculations Create sensitivity models that answer key strategic initiatives and provide concise results Participate in operational, development, and leasing calls to drive the strategy of the investment Update quarterly investor communications and reporting Prepare materials and participate in quarterly asset review meetings with Fund Head Fully comprehend and manage ownership documentation including debt and venture agreements to ensure compliance with covenants and terms Calculate quarterly asset and equity valuations and prepare documentation Assist the Investment team with transactions related activities such as exits/dispositions, major lease analysis, and recapitalizations
Qualifications
BS in Finance, Economics or related. Minimum of 2 years commercial real estate experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must be highly driven, organized and possess a strong analytical background. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and proficiency in modeling and underwriting Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively about value creation strategies Highly motivated, proactive, and efficient
