Storm Duty Requirements
Tampa Electric and its sister companies serve a critical role in providing services during emergencies. Team members are required to participate in response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service. Proper compensation will be provided according to company policies.

Gary N Clanton Focus Areas: Experience with Enterprise Integration Tools: BizTalk Server, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, MuleSoft, Boomi, Managed File Transfer solutions. API Management concepts and testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, WinSCP). Position Concept A Systems Analyst develops applications, implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 support. Collaborates on all SDLC phases, focusing on design, development, and implementation, utilizing appropriate tools and technologies. Advancement in Progression Advancement is based on performance, responsibilities, and accomplishments, not solely on time in role. Working Conditions Most work is performed in an office, with occasional travel to operational sites. Level 2 - Systems Analyst Develops software of moderate complexity, supports applications, may serve as Technical Lead on small projects, and works under moderate supervision. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Develops software based on specifications. Implements software packages requiring moderate configuration. Integrates applications with moderate interfaces. Provides 24x7 support for critical applications. Supports SDLC phases with documentation and estimates. Participates in development and support teams, may lead small projects. Maintains knowledge of relevant business areas and technical skills. Supervision Indirect supervision; may oversee contract resources or junior staff. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in relevant field or equivalent experience. Certifications: Preferred professional certifications. Experience: Minimum 2 years in systems analysis, design, and development; 4+ years if no degree. Skills: Knowledge of business software, hardware, project planning, technical design, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Level 3 - Senior Systems Analyst Develops complex software, handles complex interfaces, reviews specifications, and mentors junior staff. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Develops complex software, collaborates on specifications. Implements software with in-depth configuration and vendor interaction. Supports critical applications 24x7. Supports SDLC with documentation, reviews, and leadership roles. Mentors junior staff and promotes best practices. Supervision Indirect supervision with leadership responsibilities, may serve as backup manager. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Certifications: Preferred two or more professional certifications. Experience: Minimum 6 years, with 8+ preferred. Skills: Advanced knowledge of business applications, project planning, technical specifications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Level 4 - Systems Analyst Consultant Leads complex projects, manages software selection and implementation, and mentors staff. Works under minimal supervision. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Leads complex projects and specifications development. Leads software selection, configuration, and vendor interaction. Supports critical applications 24x7, manages releases. Oversees SDLC deliverables and junior staff, leads projects, and acts as technical expert. Supervision Leads teams and manages project responsibilities, may serve as backup to manager. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Certifications: Preferred two or more professional certifications. Experience: 10+ years, with 12+ preferred.
