Tempo offers protein-packed, fiber-rich, calorie- and carb-conscious, keto-friendly, and dietitian-approved options. As part of Home Chef's Marketing team, the Content Creator will focus on creating short-form social media content and developing engaging video content that enhances our brand across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable both shooting and editing dynamic content. Basic video editing skills, an eye for social media trends, quick thinking, and a passion for storytelling are essential for success in this fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Video Creation: Collaborate with the social media team to develop innovative video concepts and ideas that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives; help create shot lists, storyboard, shoot and direct short-form original content Use Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects to edit high-quality videos that engage our target audience across social channels Optimize videos for different platforms by adhering to their format and duration requirements; actively seek feedback and incorporate suggestions Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate in standing bi-weekly and monthly digital content brainstorms led by brand strategy and creative teams; develop videos that align with Home Chef goals Asset & Footage Organization: Label and organize raw footage, edited versions, and final cuts; maintain consistent naming conventions; build libraries of footage, graphics, sound effects, and other assets; schedule regular backups Social Channel Research: Understand social media trends and ensure Home Chef's presence resonates with consumers; document video content processes for future reference Note: All duties are performed with adherence to company policies and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
A four-year degree or equivalent work experience Proficient in video shooting, editing, and production techniques; experience with Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects or similar Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with team members and communicate ideas Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines while maintaining a positive attitude A portfolio of previous video projects or relevant work samples is highly desirable Up to one year of post-high school training such as in a business school, community college, or vocational training
