Position Summary: The Electrician makes necessary repairs and adjustments to production equipment, installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

Position Responsibilities:
- Plans installations to minimize waste
- Provides access for future maintenance; meets all specifications and electrical codes
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs electrical conduit
- Pulls wiring through conduit and connects to distribution panels, lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels
- Observes installed equipment to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation and/or replacement
- Repairs faulty equipment and systems, including repairing of circuit boards (DC drivers)
- Maintains good housekeeping in work area
- Follows all safety procedures and policies and advises supervisor of any unsafe conditions
- Any other duties requested by supervisor
- Proficiency in the use of electrical meters, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hacksaws, pipe threaders, conduit benders and soldering irons
- Must have experience in the installation and use of electrical wire, conduit, relays, fuses, DC drivers, AC drives, terminals, stripes, resistors, diodes, circuit boards, and blueprints
- 5 years' experience in the electrical/electronic field with license/certification
- Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
