The Regional Manager to oversee 8 to 10 Class (3-Party) A & B apartment properties across the Bay Area. In this key role, you'll be responsible for the physical and financial performance of your portfolio while maintaining the highest standards of excellence. What You'll Do
Maximize property rents, operating income, and net operating income. Control operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain pristine property appearance and manage daily maintenance. Lead, motivate, and train property staff to ensure top-tier performance. Achieve exceptional customer service satisfaction for residents and prospects. Accurately complete all reports and consistently meet owner goals. Coordinate efforts across site managers, ensuring alignment with company and owner objectives. What we are looking for
Proven track record in property management and financial oversight. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team success. A passion for creating exceptional living experiences and achieving operational excellence. Language Ability: Strong oral and written communication skills. Professional interpersonal skills. Reasoning Ability: Ability to direct staff, manage tasks, and solve problems with multiple variables—capacity to analyze market and economic conditions affecting the company and regional goals. Computer Skills: Must have excellent computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel—ability to understand and create reports and documents. RealPage experience preferred; other property management software packages are also helpful. Mathematical Skills: Competence in basic math, percentages, and financial forecasting. Understanding of economic performance and key metrics like Operating Revenue, Operating Expenses, and Net Operating Income. Education & Licenses/Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a similar field preferred. Certified Property Manager (CPM), CPM Candidate, or ARM designations preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Qualifications
Professional Experience Minimum of 3-7 years as a Multifamily Regional Property Manager, with preferred third-party management experience. Supervisory experience and skills in sales, marketing, management, and customer service. Experience with lease-ups and new developments is a plus. Knowledge of tenant eviction, fair housing, and multifamily industry laws, including Federal and California labor laws. Compensation, Benefits & Perks
