Cardiac Electrophysiologist (Assistant Professor) Summary
Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Cardiac Electrophysiologist faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank to join an existing group of four cardiac electrophysiology faculty members. Responsibilities
Direct procedural, inpatient, and outpatient clinical care. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage in university/public service and attend scheduled meetings and CME activities. Provide expert clinical care in the field of electrophysiology. Participate in a collaborative environment with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nurse practitioners within Baylor’s Cardiovascular Program. Work with full-time faculty, cardiac electrophysiology, and cardiovascular fellowship in a dynamic environment. Training is required in lead extraction, advanced ablations, left atrial appendage occlusion, and device implantations. Support and contribute to ongoing education and research within the division. Minimum Qualifications
Must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or D.O. or equivalent degree. Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Excellent clinical and procedural skills; able to participate actively in medical education; interest in clinical research. Eligible for a Texas medical license. Faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments. Salary and Appointment Details
