Pediatric Cardiologist, Non-Invasive Imaging General Description The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates with an interest in academic medicine, clinical expertise and scholarship to join the non-invasive imaging program within the Blalock-Taussig-Thomas Heart Center. The Non-Invasive Imaging Cardiologist will work primarily at Johns Hopkins Children\'s Center main campus. Candidates must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital non-invasive imaging, and especially fetal cardiology, is required. Clinical activities will include working in the pediatric cardiology echocardiography laboratory, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Depending on training and expertise, may also perform and interpret pediatric cardiac MRIs and/or fetal echocardiograms. Travel to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities may be required. Clinical activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time instructor/assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the candidate. Duties & Responsibilities

Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient, and echocardiography lab On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology and for non-invasive imaging Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows Academic efforts including original research and QI Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned Qualifications

MD/DO or foreign equivalent Eligible for licensure in Maryland BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology 3 years pediatric residency/3 years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent Significant experience or formal training in pediatric and congenital heart disease non-invasive imaging Academic appointment will be commensurate with the individual\'s experience Application Instructions

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University\'s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
