Our client is a growing mid-sized national law firm who is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to their clients, and a positive work environment to their employees. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Litigation Secretary who can help grow their expanding San Francisco office.
The firm offers a 3 onsite/2 remote hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Prepare, revise and proofread various pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, motions, and briefs. Provide case management and communicate with courts, clients, witnesses, experts and opposing counsel regarding hearings, depositions, trials and various meetings. Assist with the assembly, production and tracking of discovery requests and responses. Prepare and e-file documents for Federal, State and local courts. Create and maintain client and administrative files including within the document management system. Schedule appointments including meeting invites, video conference details, conference room requests, meal requests etc. and maintains attorney\'s calendar. Enter attorney\'s billable time, review proformas for billings. Perform initial conflict checks and open/close client matters and prepare engagement letters. Monitor case deadlines and work with Docket Department to ensure deadlines are entered and met. Coordinate travel arrangements and track travel expenses for reimbursement. Qualifications
7+ years of litigation secretarial experience is required. Strong experience with e-filing in state and federal courts and formatting legal documents (TOA/TOC). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and PDF software. Experience with InTapp Time, Intapp Open, Chrome River Expense Reporting, Aderant, Interaction, iManage are pluses. Salary:
