EY's Technology Operations Managed Services team (Tech Ops) works with some of the world's largest companies. Our solution is being built out to encompass application managed services, digital solutions including custom development and bespoke solutions. The solution team caters to account teams and clients in all sectors with an emphasis on larger, more complex managed service deals. The team is responsible for building the business into a significant solution for the firm, achieving target margin and revenue targets and driving innovative solutions to ensure EY retains a foothold in the market.
The opportunity
As a Senior Manager in EY’s Digital Engineering Operations Services practice, you will lead the delivery, transformation, and optimization of digital engineering services across client engagements. You will be responsible for managing service delivery, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with EY’s quality standards and client expectations. This role requires a strong leader with deep experience in digital operations, engineering platforms, and agile delivery models.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of digital engineering operations services across multiple client engagements.
Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
Drive operational excellence through automation, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering services with business goals.
Oversee service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and governance frameworks.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Support business development efforts including proposals, presentations, and client workshops.
Ensure compliance with EY’s risk management and security standards.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in digital engineering, IT operations, or managed services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with engineering platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or DevOps certifications are a plus.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $151,500 to $346,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $181,800 to $393,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Hybrid model expectations: most external, client-serving roles work in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
