Employment Type: Part-time Compensation: Salaried position; approximately 30 hours per week (Hybrid) The Executive Director (ED) serves as the key management leader of St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness (SLOCA), responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial leadership of the organization. This includes overseeing staff, programs, fundraising, and external partnerships, and working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers to execute the mission and vision of the organization. Primary Responsibilities

Organizational Leadership and Management Serve as a passionate ambassador for SLOCA and a key driver of its mission, vision, and values. Lead strategic planning in collaboration with the Board of Directors to ensure organizational sustainability and growth. Design and implement programs that fulfill SLOCA’s mission. Serve as the primary spokesperson to strengthen the organization’s visibility by maintaining active relationships with constituents including survivors, caregivers, health care professionals, donors, media partners, community non-profit partners, and ovarian cancer national organization thought leaders. Lead, coach, and support staff to promote a high-performance, collaborative culture. Engage and energize volunteers, donors, committees, and community partners. Financial Management Develop and manage the organization’s annual budget to ensure the fiscal integrity of the organization. Manage daily financial operations, maintaining alignment with the approved budget and supporting long-term financial health. Work with the finance team to track and report on the organization’s financial performance. Fundraising and Development Secure substantial annual revenue to support operations and growth. Expand fundraising strategies including major donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, annual giving campaign, and fundraising events. Steward existing donors while identifying and cultivating new prospects. Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, to engage donors and raise funds. Operations & Administration Sign all contracts, agreements, and official documents on behalf of the organization. Strengthen relationships with community partners across Missouri to advance LCC’s mission. Supervise efforts that maintain and update fundraising websites, email marketing, and stakeholder communications. Lead development of the annual newsletter. Hire and oversee the staff, manage campaigns, special events, and fundraising efforts. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors. Qualifications The Executive Director should be a mission-driven, values-based leader with proven organizational, fundraising, and special event planning experience. BS/BA in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Executive Director or senior nonprofit leader. Expertise in fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement. An ability to lead and work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals, including board members, staff, donors, volunteers and survivors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking. Experience creating and managing budgets. Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail; comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Experience with CRM systems and donor databases. Work Environment Conditions This hybrid position may require occasional evening or weekend hours for events and meetings. However, the job offers flexibility, including some remote/hybrid work, and other opportunities that do not interfere with the Executives Director’s job responsibilities are acceptable. Compensation Salary and Benefits: $65,000 to $72,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, with a monthly stipend for healthcare coverage. In addition to 10 vacation and paid holidays, two personal days, the office is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day. How to apply:
