Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Role Responsibilities

Administer the intake, triage, and prioritization of new ideas/initiatives within the Global Portfolio Management organization. Create, maintain, and lead key operating cadences associated with portfolio planning, prioritization and governance. Partner with Product, PMO, and Engineering to drive investments through the PDLC process and increase the amount of “shovel ready” work in the enterprise backlog. Drive process creation, documentation, and optimization for investment intake, planning, and prioritization functions as well as associated dependency functions. Govern Product and Technology leaders to align roadmaps to the enterprise portfolio process and systems, and ensure systematic data reflects updates from the ground. Lead annual, quarterly, and continuous planning processes for your portfolio, and in close partnership / alignment with cross-team leaders across Product, PMO, and Engineering. Drive the design, creation, and distribution of monthly and quarterly business readouts to Executive Leadership (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews). Serve as the systematic data steward for your portfolio (e.g., Jira), ensuring project statuses, estimates, actuals, and other key metadata are updated by respective stakeholders. Support the evolution of portfolio and business management reporting capabilities by providing new and value-add requirements to our tools team. Manage your portfolio’s operational reporting process and design effective timelines and process steps to ensure reports are distributed timely and accurately. Support portfolio governance and controls processes by following up with key stakeholders accountable for reporting findings. Train reporting consumers on the meaning of various reports and metrics and guide them on next steps. Serve as your portfolio’s go-to subject matter expert for portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira Cloud). Create and administer information hubs (on SharePoint, Confluence) to support stakeholders. Role Requirements

8+ years of experience in portfolio, product, program, or technology business management roles (or a combination). 5+ years of working with a geographically dispersed team of leaders and stakeholders. 5+ years of experience in payments, technology, or financial services. Bachelor’s degree, or experiential equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related discipline. Highly versed in technology portfolio and business management concepts; able to offer ideas and recommendations for the function’s evolution. Strong familiarity with Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) fundamentals. Strong familiarity with technology investment prioritization frameworks and methodologies (e.g., WSJF); experience leading or supporting business case processes. Strong experience with Jira and/or other PPM tools. Strong experience interfacing with Business, Product, and Engineering leadership. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex projects across cross-functional, distributed teams and multiple internal groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong process design and time management skills to support recurring operational reporting processes. Highly effective pivoting skills to adapt quickly to change, operate amidst ambiguity. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment. High sense of ownership, urgency, independence, and drive. Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $160,000 – $180,000 USD per year, with total on-target compensation of $192,000 – $216,000 (base plus long-term and short-term incentives). Actual salaries vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies. You will also have access to short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, and other benefits.
