Manager, Education & Training - Chicago Bakery
Mondelēz International is seeking a Manager, Education & Training for the Chicago Bakery. This role provides HR support to a specific plant(s) on talent management, leadership development, early career programs, career pathing, mobility and strategic talent reviews. For people managers, serves as point of contact for HR topics and partners to implement global strategies across plants and influence business strategy for people-related issues.
How You Will Contribute
Lead the learning curriculum at the Chicago Bakery, educating leaders on high performance work system principles and building a world-class learning organization.
Develop multi-skilled employees in semi-autonomous teams; foster a culture of self-learning and on-the-job training focused on specific tasks; drive losses to "zero" and meet CBN targets through 100% employee engagement.
Lead all aspects of training across Manufacturing, CS&L, Engineering, HS&E, Quality, and Innovation; collaborate with IL6S Pillars Leadership Team.
Develop frameworks and programs to build core capabilities to drive business performance.
Identify learning needs and program objectives; work with global curriculum or design learning offers as needed.
Create local content for new capabilities and manage global content with a local perspective.
Implement and deliver the learning agenda with compliance to a capability strategy.
Create and deliver functional communications and engagement activities.
Collaborate with Workforce Analytics and Insights CoE to forecast future skills and understand impact of capability strategies.
Partner with external suppliers to develop learning offers when internal capability is insufficient.
Continuously improve internal learning offers; leverage program management and investment tracking to drive clarity and impact.
Foster a learning organization and culture of learn-do-teach; train/learn as needed.
Identify and help eliminate losses due to skill gaps; design an effective training system focusing on task orientation, on-the-job training, qualified trainers, evaluation, tracking, just-in-time development, onboarding for new hires and role transitions.
Own the training budget process and targets; define the Training Curriculum (Manufacturing, CS&L, Engineering, HS&E, Quality, Innovation) with IL6S Pillar Leader and use the LMS; harmonize education and training standards to lead IL6S capability agenda and loss eradication.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree required
8+ years' experience within HR, Education and Training
Broad generalist HR experience across a range of populations and seniorities
Proven track record as a trusted business partner who can engage, inspire, and influence people
Experience with Lean Six Sigma to drive high performance
Active curiosity, insight orientation, external perspective on people and business performance
Interpersonal savvy, planning, and ability to deal with ambiguity
Future-focused with market awareness
Experience in training and development
Manufacturing experience preferred; union experience preferred
The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; in addition to base salary, eligible for a bonus program. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education programs, paid holidays and vacation. Some benefits have eligibility requirements. No relocation support available.
