Overview
HR Generalist - HR & Management - San Jose (Third-Party Associate). This is a 12-month temporary assignment managed by a third-party agency. While you may be assigned to work at TikTok, you will not be a TikTok employee. All contractual terms, including payroll and benefits, will be handled by the third-party agency. Responsibilities
Manage and execute day-to-day HR operational tasks, including coordinating return-to-office (RTO) plans, organizing team offsites and meetings, and handling routine HR inquiries. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of various HR projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed. Provide initial support on employee relations (ER) cases, including intake, documentation, and coordination with HRBPs to ensure timely and compliant resolution. Support the development and distribution of internal communications regarding HR updates, policy changes, and upcoming events to ensure employees are well-informed. Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems, run routine reports, and assist with analytics to support HRBP decision-making. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 3+ years in HR Operations, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or similar role; experience with HR systems, tools, and reporting; solid understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle; excellent communication and customer-service-oriented interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (especially ER); strong operational and organizational skills with emphasis on accuracy and process improvement; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; proactive problem-solving; experience supporting HR Business Partners in a collaborative team setting. Compensation : The hourly rate range for this position in San Jose, CA is $38-$67. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and location. Base pay may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives and RSUs. Benefits on day one may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off. The company reserves the right to modify benefits at any time.
