Position: Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architect II Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architect II

to lead the design, governance, and implementation of our enterprise-wide data architecture. In this role, you will drive data engineering best practices, oversee data governance frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-performance data solutions. This position requires deep expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and advanced database technologies, as well as strong leadership capabilities to support enterprise analytics initiatives across clinical, research, and administrative domains. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable enterprise data architecture to support analytics and operational needs. Establish and enforce data governance protocols and best practices across the full data lifecycle. Lead documentation efforts including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and training materials. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational goals. Provide project leadership for data-related initiatives, including system upgrades, data integration efforts, and platform modernization. Drive innovation and standardization in data engineering and management practices. Additional REQUIRED Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in working with cloud environments, with demonstrated hands-on expertise in

AWS, Oracle, and AWS Redshift

for enterprise data management and analytics Demonstrated experience in defining and leading the strategic vision for enterprise data warehouse architecture, enabling scalable and efficient data solutions across complex environments Proven ability to communicate technical architecture effectively to executive leadership and cross-functional teams Experienced in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights that support informed decision-making by non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership Experience in healthcare/Hospital data environments. A strong preference for provider-side settings and hands-on expertise working with EHR systems and related data architectures Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 16+ years of progressive experience in data engineering and architecture roles, including: Data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) OLAP and RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) NoSQL databases Big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Cloudera) ETL tools (e.g., Talend) OR 20+ years of relevant IT or business support experience in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of experience in: Designing infrastructure for data collection, storage, access, and usage Implementing data governance frameworks SQL Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with

SQL

using

Microsoft SQL Server

or

Oracle . Strong hands-on experience with: RDBMS and NoSQL technologies Database service programming and integration Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with data governance practices for data at rest and in motion. Experience working in clinical, research, and administrative data environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, high-complexity initiatives. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise data strategies. Seniority level
