Overview
HR Generalist – Reporting & Projects As part of a small HR team, this role manages HR reporting and data for U.S. offices while supporting key projects and acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers in Boston and New York. The position combines operational support, reporting, and project management with opportunities to contribute across payroll, talent, and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Provide HR and operational support by interpreting policies, answering inquiries, and ensuring consistent application. Partner with HR colleagues on integration projects, onboarding, and related employee activities. Review and validate bi-monthly payroll, monitoring headcount and financial changes. Prepare HR reports, including diversity metrics and EEO-1 filings; support ad hoc reporting (e.g., RFPs). Collaborate with HR team to recruit for open roles as needed. Support the annual compensation review process, ensuring accuracy and data integrity. Contribute to Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies, including planning office events and celebrations. Draft and distribute HR communications across the organization. Assist with special HR projects such as exit data analysis, document retention, audit support, and compliance reporting. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years’ experience in an HR Gen role Proficient in Excel - V Lookups, Pivot Tables Preferred
Experience in a Financial Services firm and/or a large, global, highly-matrixed organization HR certification Job Details
