Urban Plates is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to support the HR function for over 800 team members from our restaurant Support Center in Solana Beach, CA. This role is in-person and located in Solana Beach (near San Diego).

Urban Plates currently owns and operates 21 fast-casual, high-volume restaurants in CA, with a new opening scheduled for Davis, CA in October 2025. We offer a competitive base salary with a range of between $80 - 90K, up to 10% bonus, and a comprehensive benefit plan (effective on the 1st of the month following hire).
Base pay range
- $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Additional compensation
- Annual Bonus.
Benefits include the following (effective on the 1st of the month following hire): Life and AD&D, Supplemental Life and AD&D, Basic Long-Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Accident Insurance/Hospital Indemnity Insurance/Flexible Spending, Pet Insurance.
Location
- Solana Beach, CA (near San Diego). This role requires the ability to commute to the Support Center in Solana Beach.
Responsibilities and requirements We are seeking someone with:
Strong experience with Employee Relations.
Solid HR Generalist experience in Hospitality, Restaurant, or Retail with multiple sites if preferred.
3-5 years' experience handling TM investigations, unemployment hearings, performance management, and documentation timely and consistent with company policy.
Expertise and experience with CA employment law and compliance.
Experience with an HCM (Dayforce/Ceridian) preferred but not essential, with strong electronic systems, processes, and workflows for the full life cycle of the team member experience.
Experience with companies with 700-2000 TMs (medium sized) preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
