A well-capitalized and rapidly expanding healthcare real estate investment and asset management platform is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to support portfolio accounting and financial reporting across a growing portfolio of skilled nursing, post-acute, and assisted living facilities within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger Support month-end close activities and preparation of monthly financial reports Collaborate with leadership and operational teams on various accounting and financial projects Assist with monthly, annual reporting, and audit processes for multiple portfolios Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy Support year-end processes such as cost reporting and balance sheet reviews Handle multiple deadlines effectively while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred 3-5 years of accounting experience within real estate or healthcare-related industries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with YARDI or similar accounting software is a plus Seniority level
