Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. in order to meet or exceed those objectives. Create pre-call plan using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. Handle objections and drive calls to action to close on sales opportunities. Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win–win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease state, product, clinical and sales knowledge; share market intelligence with in-field team and brand team to align and optimize brand strategy. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers; identify and develop disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience; high school diploma/GED required with at least five (5) years of industry experience if no degree. Three or more years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; strong scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; business acumen and proficiency with business tools. Proven track record in selling with solid presentation skills; ability to adapt to customer style and influence stakeholders; credible and respected role model; capable of leading by example and coaching peers. Demonstrated leadership and increasing responsibilities at district/region levels; ability to leverage findings to develop sales strategies. Preferred: experience in sales within respective therapeutic areas; English proficiency; HCIR credentialing requirements must be satisfied to gain access to facilities; ability to meet credentialing requirements and related liabilities. Health care industry credentialing may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses; AbbVie provides resources to answer questions.
