Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed agreed targets. Create pre-call plan objectives and perform post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance; handle objections and close calls effectively. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing needs and challenges to achieve win-win agreements. Develop and execute a call plan that maximizes access and sales opportunities by optimizing coverage and frequency to key customers. Gather market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, disease state knowledge, and share insights with in-field and brand teams to optimize strategy. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify disease state experts and speakers to support brand performance. Drive the ability to operate in a field-based environment, including the use of a personal or company vehicle as required. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree with at least five years in the pharmaceutical/health/science field; three or more years preferred. Strong scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; excellent business acumen and strategic thinking. Ability to adapt selling approaches to customer style; proactive in addressing customer needs and developing sales strategies. Effective collaboration in a matrix environment; able to influence and build partnerships with district and cross-functional teams. Leadership experience and a record of responsibility in district/region roles is preferred. Preferred: Successful track record in pharmaceutical sales in the relevant therapeutic area; English proficiency; HCIR credentialing requirements to gain access to facilities; valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
