Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing the challenges associated with developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our leadership team. This role provides oversight, guidance, and support to program operations while ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and evaluate Program Directors in alignment with agency personnel policies. Ensure services are culturally responsive, promote independence, and respect individual choice. Maintain strong professional relationships with State agencies including DDS, DMH, DCF, EOEA, and EOHHS, while staying informed on statewide initiatives such as CBHI and the Commissioner’s Statewide Advisory Council. Provide scheduled emergency back-up support to program staff and respond to crisis situations with effective prevention and intervention strategies. Actively participate in interagency committees, advisory groups, and information-sharing meetings. Collaborate with other Senior Program Directors, the Director of Residential Services, and the VP of DD Services to develop and deliver in-service training for division staff. Ensure full compliance with DDS, DMH, EOEA, EOHHS, CARF regulations, and internal Quality Management standards. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred; relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of education requirements. Experience: Minimum of five years in program administration serving adults with long-term mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Skills: Strong written communication skills with proven ability to prepare clear, professional documentation. Additional Requirements: Certification as a Medication Administration Technician within 90 days of hire. Use of a personal cellular phone for work-related communication.
