Oversee all programs operations
Develop and execute budgets
Create and adjust programs schedules
Secure referees, trainers, and other personnel for all events and programs
Secure and prepare fields and courts necessary for programs and events
Advise management and ownership of optimum dates for events, taking into consideration experience of previous seasons
Ensure that fields and playing surfaces are suitable for use by guests, notifying personnel to take appropriate action when needed
Communicate with Finance Manager for payments and schedules
Lead by example and enforce rules accordingly
Oversee staff during programs and events
Provide quality guest service to guests
Maintain, repair, upgrade, and order equipment when necessary
Knowledgeable in facility operations and ability to perform facility operations efficiently
Recognize the target market and develop strategies to expand market share
Correspond with prospective groups and stakeholders
Ability to understand, learn, and utilize various program and company software
Understand and carryout program policies and procedures
Conduct market research to develop programs that are attractive to community
Ability to open/close facilities
Knowledge of proper money handling procedures
Knowledge in multiple sports/interests for future expansions and developments of programs
Ability to think quickly rationally in times of emergency to prevent further problems
Manage multiple tasks at once as well as meet deadlines
Inventory supplies and keep accurate records
Communicate with affiliated guests by phone, e-mail and/or in person
Work weekends, holidays, and nights when necessary
Ability to be firm in programs and company policies and procedures
Record all incidents encountered
Do daily rounds during programs as MOD to ensure a safe facility
Ensure all required paperwork is current
Gather customer data and make appropriate adjustments
Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by Ownership
Keep a strong healthy relationship with the client
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google suite. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
