Overview
Nurse Practitioner - Youth and Family Outpatient Services Care setting: Community Research Foundation – San Diego, CA. CRF programs deliver services in a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive manner, with a wraparound approach for children and a psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery approach for adults. Integrated care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems. Client and family preferences are central to service delivery. CRF serves diverse communities including Latinx and Middle Eastern populations. Responsibilities
Provide outpatient nurse practitioner services for youth and families at Crossroads Family Center, Douglas Young Youth and Family Services, and the Mobile Adolescent Services Team (MAST). Collaborate with psychiatrists, front office staff, translators, and clinicians to support medical management and ensure high-quality patient care. Engage with families in service planning and delivery; provide services in the community, home, school, and clinic to maximize accessibility and convenience. Manage a caseload with approximately 300 patients and a 28-hour-per-week schedule (as noted in additional details). Qualifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner eligible to practice in California (or equivalent). Experience in pediatric/adolescent behavioral health or related field preferred. Ability to work in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive environments; bilingual skills are a plus. Benefits & Compensation
