Overview
Our client, a respected non-profit organization in Tulare County, is seeking a Finance Director to lead their finance and accounting functions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to an organization that makes a meaningful impact in the community while providing strategic financial leadership. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals and sustainability Ensure compliance with GAAP, grant requirements, and applicable regulations Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and the Board of Directors Manage cash flow, investments, and long-term financial planning Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting growth and efficiency Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and resource allocation Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience, ideally within non-profit or mission-driven organizations Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and grant management Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and boards Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $180,000 – $220,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package Location: Tulare County, CA Location
