Overview
Director, Global Strategic Accounts at Rapid Micro Biosystems (RMB). The role focuses on account penetration at executive levels within target organizations and growth of the key pharmaceutical customer footprint across customers' production and manufacturing facilities worldwide, with primary focus in North America and EMEA. Responsibilities
Create and execute a strategy for expanding RMB footprint at key accounts, incorporating regional goals and insights from Regional Sales Directors, Sales Ops, VP of Sales, and CEO Build a clear commercial strategy for targeted expansion and standardization of RMB technology across global customer sites Coordinate selling activities across regions and align with global and site-level strategy Own and execute specific customer global growth initiatives, gain customer buy-in, and drive local execution with Regional Sales Directors Build relationship maps within key accounts and foster executive-level relationships between customers and RMB leadership Other Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize internal resources to ensure you have the right tools and information to execute on deliverables Support creation of financial assessments (ROI) and development of business cases with customers to demonstrate Growth Direct benefits across the customer manufacturing network Develop relationships at senior and executive levels within select accounts Create account leverage across the RMB portfolio Align proposals and offerings with company objectives by working with Regional Sales Directors, Sales Ops and Marketing Deploy initiatives such as multi-system deals, multi-site deals, and pricing rebates to drive executive buy-in Lead discussions on contracts and MSAs Conduct regular business updates (QBRs) with key stakeholders within target customer lists and participate in strategic meetings Deliver assigned account revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
B.Sc. degree in a scientific discipline (microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering strongly preferred) MBA or professional business education is highly desirable Minimum of 5–7 years as a senior-level strategic account executive in the Pharmaceutical / CMO / CDMO life sciences space; global experience is highly preferred Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value accounts in a matrix environment Strong analytical skills and financial acumen Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed management and cross-functional environment Working Conditions
Up to 50% travel is expected Frequent travel to the home office in Lexington, MA About Rapid Micro Biosystems
