Job Description Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of global accounting and financial reporting by providing leadership, business collaboration, process knowledge and technical expertise to Sandisk Finance. This role will lead our GL Operations, Global Close and Consolidation, and Technical Accounting and External Reporting teams. This role ideally is based at our HQ location in Milpitas and will likely involve some periodic global travel. Responsibilities Lead a team of professionals who oversee all aspects of the company’s monthly/quarterly close processes and external and technical accounting and quarterly/annual reporting Overall lead for the monthly and quarterly close and external reporting processes with a focus on driving continuous process and systems improvements to enable optimal business decisions and outcomes Own the development and implementation of Sandisk's accounting policies, adapting to changes in our business and the evolution of US GAAP Ensure a strong control and compliance framework with corporate SOX and key controls, adherence to US GAAP and other statutory requirements and support for external/internal audits and reviews Point person on behalf of CAO responsible for external auditor relationship for all areas other than Revenue Partner with the Finance senior leadership team (including FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax and Treasury) to align accounting with finance and business objectives Support new business initiatives/models requiring enhancement or development of Finance/Accounting systems Collaborate with IT and other Sandisk functional teams during design, implementation, and post-implementation phases of accounting-related projects Lead Accounting team participation in cross-company initiatives and incorporate project plans into annual and longer-term plans Support M&A integration and divestiture activities for Finance leveraging SME expertise in key process areas Qualifications (Preferred) CPA or Chartered Accountant Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Oracle and/or SAP experience Experience with a publicly traded Multi-National Company Best practices familiarity and benchmarking capabilities in Record-to-Report and/or Order-to-Cash processes Additional Information Sandisk is committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee based on protected characteristics.
