Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and budget to increase center sales and traffic, drive sponsorship and media sales, support Tanger corporate programs, and position the center as a good corporate citizen. Serve as Primary Business Development representative for the center, prospecting, canvassing, and closing media, sponsorship, and non-transactional revenue deals aligned with annual revenue goals. Monitor and manage the marketing budget, account for variances, adjust plans in real time, and complete monthly financial forecasts with updates to the GM. Assist Area General Manager in developing a comprehensive strategic business plan. Create and execute national and local programs that integrate retailers, drive traffic and sales, create revenue opportunities, and generate positive publicity with measurable ROI. Actively create and sell media, sponsorships, and programming opportunities to achieve sales goals and NOI. Manage the local sales process end-to-end, including pipeline, targets, pitches, and cultivating brand-appropriate partnerships for center deals. Communicate the benefits of Tanger Outlets and offer marketing and advertising solutions to clients. Collaborate with RVP of Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and media agencies to develop targeted advertising and media plans. Generate local publicity through area print and broadcast resources; prepare and distribute press releases and media alerts; maintain media contact lists. Build strong retailer relations; coordinate quarterly retailer meetings and monthly newsletters; provide retailers with needed support. Support Shopper Services goals and ensure Tanger Ambassadors deliver outstanding service to shoppers and retailers. Support and execute national programs (e.g., TangerClub, Tanger gift cards) and other branded programs to drive local results. Flawlessly execute national, regional, and local Marketing and Marketing Partnership programs. Develop and implement local tourism strategies (bus/tour groups, partnerships with hotels, resorts, etc.); participate in festivals, conventions, and trade shows as applicable. Establish positive relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote center growth and Tanger’s role as a good corporate citizen. Provide field support for Tanger Corporate Departments to move business forward and remove obstacles. Actively participate as a key member of the management team as directed by the Area General Manager. Adhere to all policies and procedures in the Marketing Manual. Competencies

Undergraduate degree from an accredited university and 4+ years of experience in marketing, sales, public relations, hospitality, or related fields (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Preferred Education And Experience
