We have a unique opportunity for a MSL or a highly motivated MD, DO, PharmD or PhD with clinical and pharmaceutical experience eager to learn and make an impact in a small, but highly visible, Medical Affairs department. Position will cover U.S. North Central including, but not limited to: IL, OH, MI, IN, KY, MN. Qualified candidates must reside within this territory. Responsibilities

Conduct scientific exchanges in the field with prioritized stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), HCPs, patient advocacy groups, and societies to support Medical Affairs strategies. Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders; develop understanding of regional healthcare systems and clinical practices. Provide key scientific and clinical education and training on topics related to Medical Affairs strategies (e.g., products, disease states, burden of illness, diagnostic scales). Support interactions with investigators and potential investigators in conjunction with ongoing and planned clinical trials; support evaluation of Investigator Initiated Research proposals as appropriate. Develop and execute a customer-centric regional medical engagement plan to support Medical Affairs strategies; contribute to a regional plan for scientific exchange with prioritized stakeholders. Assess stakeholders and identify appropriate healthcare professionals to interact with as part of the medical engagement plan. Collaborate with field-based Medical colleagues and other internal teams to provide scientific expertise and share insights in support of internal and external activities. Qualifications

Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD) with minimum 3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience (REQUIRED). Minimum 1 year MSL experience with primary emphasis on field-based scientific exchange (REQUIRED). Strong broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge with excellent presentation and teaching skills (REQUIRED). Experience speaking about drug information and disease state treatment (REQUIRED). Knowledge of pharmaceutical environment and appreciation for Commercial Operations, including Marketing and Sales strategies (REQUIRED). Ability to influence without direct authority (REQUIRED). Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record (REQUIRED). Work Arrangements

This is a field-based position requiring ability to travel by car and air up to 70% (usually 3–4 field days per week and occasionally on weekends). Salary and Benefits

Anticipated salary range: $165,000 to $180,000 per year. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of education and experience level relative to requirements and internal equity. Additional benefits: incentives, including medical, dental, vision, Rx insurance, 401K with match, life insurance, paid company holidays, PTO, Paid Volunteer Time and Employee Resource Groups.
