Overview
Join our established hospital medicine (HM) team at AdventHealth South Overland Park in Overland Park, Kansas, as a full-time physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) providing inpatient patient care. Primary responsibility of performing admissions of patients to the hospital medicine service line along with rounding on a few existing patients, as needed. This is an ideal position for the experienced advanced practice clinician (APC) who is passionate about inpatient medicine and working independently.
Responsibilities
Admit patients to the hospital medicine service line
Rounding on a few existing patients, as needed
Collaborate with physicians, APCs, specialists, and nursing staff to provide high-quality inpatient care
Schedule & Environment
Shift: 11am to 7pm
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
Average 12 patient encounters daily (admissions + rounding)
EMR system: Epic
