Advise clients on environmental compliance, land use regulations, and permitting. Draft and review agreements, permits, and regulatory filings. Conduct research on environmental and zoning laws. Represent clients before agencies and in administrative hearings. Assist with due diligence and risk assessments for real estate projects. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to keep clients informed. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support client objectives. Qualifications
2+ years of experience in environmental and land use law. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in California (or ability to obtain promptly). Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and zoning laws. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Skills
Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Knowledge of permitting and compliance processes. Effective advisory and relationship-building skills. Attention to detail and risk management focus. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Culture & Firm Appeal
