Job Location:

Remote/Quincy MA 02169 (Hybrid)

Onsite Requirements:

Digital banking experience

Solutions architecture experience

Experience working with applications with significant traffic, AWS, APIs, Events (Kafka / MQ / Event Bridge), ReactJS / Java

Job Description:

As a Solution Architect for Consumer Banking and Channels Architecture, utilize expertise to recommend operational strategies and plans for the Solutions Architecture function with direct impact on company and IT results.

Manage strategic Consumer Banking Architecture accounts and communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance, influencing business decisions.

Evaluate and ensure compliance with the organization\'s technology standards and work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.

Responsibilities:

Maintain ongoing relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment

Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to understand business strategy and future needs

Provide monthly updates and presentations to senior management on strategic matters

Communicate with senior leadership on strategic matters

Consult with architecture and technical teams on systems design and implementation to grow retail business processes and technology implementations

Collaborate with senior leadership and IT leaders to develop project scopes and business cases aligning with business and IT strategies

Develop blueprints and roadmaps to balance IT efficiency and business innovation

Build consensus with IT and business partners

Develop and implement new architecture products, processes, standards, and operational plans

Identify cost-saving opportunities for corporate business lines

Influence business decisions made by leadership

Lead, guide, and mentor best practices, design standards, and implementation strategies

Perform comprehensive discovery analysis and define client issues; document implementation as a technical solution

Determine product and service designs to suit commercial banking needs

Act as a liaison between Business Units and Consumer Banking IT throughout the product life cycle

Complete current state analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation

Consult with clients to map business needs to Santander solutions and requirements

Must have Skills:

10 years of experience with 7 years in a solution architecture position

Solution Architect and Digital Banking experience

RESTful APIs, API-led design

Banking functional concepts: Customer Authentication, Payments, Billpay, monetary movements, Zelle, FundNow, TransferNow

Create logical/functional architecture diagrams; design integrations by use case sequence

Cybersecurity concepts: MFA, encryption standards, device biometrics

Cybersecurity risk assessment

Experience leading online and mobile banking application development

Experience with high-traffic applications, AWS, APIs, Events (Kafka / MQ / Event Bridge), ReactJS / Java

Excellent communication, team player, proactive

Ability to collaborate with Business owners and technical owners
