Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology-driven projects for clients in various verticals. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, leadership, and client-focused problem-solving to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the client, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, facilitating communication, managing resources, and upholding high standards of service. Responsibilities
Collaborate with pre-sales team to discuss client requirements, review and develop associated Scopes of Work, budget estimates and estimated timelines Review and understand scope of work to be performed and collaborate with internal team to develop project plans to ensure successful project implementation Display strong client communication skills and ensure ongoing communication with project sponsors and stakeholders on status and timelines Coordinate and manage resources, maintain project schedules, manage budget, and work with the engineering team to manage risk Review and manage vendor contracts and collaborate with resources to successfully deliver project work Track project performance against the project plan, timeline, budget, and client requirements Follow internal processes and procedures to establish change orders where appropriate to ensure delivery remains within scope and client needs are met Escalate any project issues promptly to PMO Manager or relevant internal sources Provide regular updates on project status internally and externally by communicating with clients Ensure project deliverable handover and user acceptance is completed and well documented Manage the closing process when the project is finalized Work to introduce process improvements from lessons learned All other duties as assigned Skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, detail-oriented and time-management skills Excellent documentation skills Adaptability to changing priorities, as needed Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Maintains a high level of professionalism and courteous demeanor Successful in maintaining a high level of confidentiality Experience and Education
4+ years in project management, facilitating IT projects, preferably in a consulting environment 2+ years presenting client solutions while managing budgets, resources, and deliverables Experience in process improvement and inventory control Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Project Management Professional certification, preferred Seniority level
