Your Impact In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between Axon’s global product organization and the diverse needs of the European market. You’ll guide how our platform is delivered into sovereign and restricted cloud environments while also shaping broader product localization strategies that unlock growth across EMEA, beginning with Italy. This role combines technical product leadership with the ability to build strategic relationships—bridging product capabilities with institutional needs to support long-term adoption and trust. Your work will extend beyond cloud: from adapting Axon’s solutions to local legislative, language, and deployment requirements, to identifying new opportunities where tailored features can accelerate regional growth. By working closely with customers, technology leaders, and internal teams, you’ll ensure Axon’s products remain both globally scalable and locally relevant. What You’ll Do

Work Location:

This role is based out of our Rome, Italy office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Director, Product Management Drive EMEA Cloud & Localization Strategy : Own the roadmap for Axon’s platform delivery in sovereign, hybrid, and restricted cloud environments—while shaping how our products adapt to legislative, language, and market-specific requirements across Europe. Be the Voice of the Customer : Engage CIOs, IT leaders, product stakeholders, and regulators to surface technical, policy, and operational constraints—translating them into clear product requirements and strategic opportunities. Guide Compliance-Led & Localization Innovation : Partner with Security, Legal, and Engineering to embed EU-specific needs (GDPR, SecNumCloud, PSN, etc.) and regional product adaptations into platform capabilities. Cultivate Strategic Relationships : Build trusted partnerships with technology and product leaders in key institutions—supporting business growth by aligning Axon’s platform with their long-term strategies. Represent Axon with Authority : Speak at industry panels, compliance roundtables, and executive briefings, positioning Axon as a trusted partner for secure, compliant, and relevant public sector technology. Lead Tender Engagements : Act as the technical and product lead in RFPs, ensuring Axon delivers clear, compliant, and competitive responses across the region. Identify & Deliver Localization Opportunities : Continuously surface and execute opportunities to adapt Axon’s platform to local market conditions without compromising scalability or core value. What You Bring

Experience 7+ years in product management with strong exposure to cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and/or compliance-heavy industries. Background in data sovereignty, hybrid deployments, or regulated sector technology (public sector, defense, healthcare). Experience engaging directly with government agencies and IT/product leaders, ideally in support of mission-critical platforms. Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, C5, PSN). Skills Strong product judgment—able to balance local market needs with global platform goals. Excellent communication—clear, persuasive, and structured across technical, business, and regulatory audiences. Ability to translate complex compliance, market, and infrastructure requirements into actionable product direction. Confidence leading conversations on architecture, security, hosting models, and data governance. Fluency in additional European languages (French, Spanish, German) is a plus.
