Overview
An outpatient mental health clinic in Ohio that provides Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for mental health and addiction challenges is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. The program offers specialized behavioral health treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Location: approximately one hour north of Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week) Case load: 20–25 patients per day (PPD) Clinical duties: outpatient management of pediatric and adolescent patients; initial evaluations typically 60 minutes, follow-ups 30 minutes Collaboration: work with NP/PA and existing support staff (2 RNs, 1 MA, 1 NP/PA) Patient population: children and adolescents Location type: on-site Call: not required Case mix: anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, developmental disorders, and related conditions Qualifications
Board Certification Required: Yes Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BC in C&A) or Board-Eligible in general Psychiatry with experience treating children MD or DO About the Facility
