The Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team is a global group focused on delighting customers, nurturing partnerships, and guiding a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. The team covers Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships to showcase the power of Zscaler cloud transformation.
We are looking for a Sr. Director, GTM Technical Strategy & Training to join our Americas Field Sales team remotely in the USA. Reporting to the VP, Solutions Consulting - Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
Leading Technical Enablement Strategy: Define and implement a scalable vision for training, skills development, certifications, and practices to elevate Sales Engineers, Architects, and Technical Specialists.
Driving Technical Advisory Group (TAG): Scale and enhance TAG to support technical specialization and selling efforts, aligning with business goals and industry standards.
Collaborating on Strategic Enablement: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to address enablement gaps, align priorities, and influence Zscaler’s solutions roadmap.
Managing Global Programs: Oversee development and regionalization of technical training programs, ensuring measurable impact through robust frameworks and data-driven KPIs.
Acting as a Stakeholder Advocate: Represent the technical expertise of SEs and TAG members to internal teams while building credibility in external forums with customers and industry experts.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
7–10+ years of leadership experience in Sales Engineering, Enablement, or Solutions Consulting in cybersecurity, SaaS, or cloud enterprise settings.
Broad technical expertise in areas like Zero Trust, Cloud Security, and Threat Management; certifications such as CISSP or AWS Solutions Architect are preferred.
Proven success in designing and scaling global enablement programs, including specialization teams like TAG or similar efforts.
Strong communicator with the ability to foster consensus across technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to align technical strategies with customer needs to drive impactful sales results.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Skilled in managing multiple simultaneous initiatives within dynamic organizations and collaborating across matrixed teams such as product, marketing, and sales.
Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit with proven success innovating within evolving organizational structures.
Experienced public speaker or evangelist for technical or industry-specific content.
Base Pay Range: $1 - $1 USD (Note: Range reflects minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position across all US locations and may vary by location, skills, and experience.)
