In this role, you will be responsible for the Data Import Tool, the primary way clients and partners push data into Addepar. Clients work in a spreadsheet and upload it to Addepar via the import Excel add-in. Data imports include transactions, positions, attributes, and administrative tasks like creating users and groups. You will also support the development and rollout of the new notifications workflow, the new file management center, and the workflow control pane. Addepar uses a market-based pay approach. The current range for this role is $70,000 - $110,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salaries vary by location and market conditions; recruiters can share specifics for your preferred location during hiring. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. What You’ll Do
Possess a deep understanding of the import tool, its users, business value, technical landscape, and its relation to other areas of the Addepar system. Assist the lead product manager with researching, defining and scoping new functionality, including creating clear examples to help developers. Provide last-resort support for import tool questions and issues from internal teams; update product content to reduce repeated issues. Perform correctness testing on new import tool enhancements, validating different combinations of import options and related functionality. Who You Are
3+ years of product management experience or relevant domain-specific experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders Ability to partner with engineering to define functional and technical implementation to solve a business problem; understanding of high-level data development concepts and ability to write and review technical requirements Proven ability to plan, design, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Proactive problem solving, self-motivation, and a strong team-player mindset Passion for finance and technology Experience with financial data and concepts relevant to Addepar’s clients is strongly preferred but not required Our Values
