Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will support the financial controller in the month end closing process, ensuring the integrity of financial information. This person leads the closing process, ensures balance sheet reconciliations are complete, and will also reconcile the cash settlement statement while the Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) governing services performed by KHC is in effect. Ensure adequate uploading and reporting information in tools such as HFM and assist in the year end audit process. Assist in maintaining intercompany and intracompany processes, including elimination entries and reconciliations. Process all necessary journals to ensure the month end closing process is complete and manage accounting interfaces of subsystems (e.g., payroll) ensuring transactions are recorded at month end. Perform ongoing reviews of trial balances to ensure financial statements accurately reflect the financial position of the company and perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations. Liaise with KHC on cash settlement differences and ensure timely resolution. Upload balances into consolidation tools such as HFM and process consolidation journal entries. Process payables and maintain adequate controls over payables; liaise with the tax team on tax impacts of transactions and ensure correct recording of tax impacts. Assist in the reconciliation of statutory and management reporting. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred CPA/CA or close to completion 5+ years of experience focused on accounting, consolidations, and general ledger closing Familiar with group consolidation tools such as HFM/Hyperion Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Attention to detail and ability to navigate large and complex data environments SAP experience advantageous Ability to effectively summarize complex information and communicate well both orally and in writing Flexibility in a changing environment Benefits and total rewards
