Overview The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Business Financial Management (BFM) Team provides financial management support across NAVWAR HQ, Direct Reporting Program Manager (DRPM), and NAVWAR Program Executing Offices (PEOs). The BFM Team delivers PPBE processes, financial management, and performance analysis to depict the financial health of the SYSCOM and related programs. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial management and acquisition support on the NAVWAR 1.2 BFM contract, based in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Provide financial management and acquisition support as part of the NAVWAR 1.2 BFM contract.

Develop and maintain spend plans, track obligations and expenditures, and conduct variance analysis.

Collaborate with Business Financial Managers (BFMs), PAPMs, APMs, and APM-Is to manage resources and data for funding execution and tracking.

Support financial and planning documentation across NAVWAR program portfolios.

Provide inputs to DoD acquisition-related data calls and documentation.

Build financial management strategies and develop actionable plans to secure and manage funding to achieve program goals.

Enter, extract, and manipulate data from government systems such as Navy ERP and related Navy financial databases.

Maintain financial data to support accurate obligation, execution, and reconciliation of funds.

Track budgets, costs, variances, and funding status across multiple funding types.

Prepare and analyze monthly execution performance reports; respond to ad hoc reporting and variance analyses.

Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and cost-benefit analyses to assess program tradeoffs and funding alternatives.

Prepare and review budget estimates, funding documentation, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.

Research budgets and economic trends to inform planning and recommendations.

Develop and present executive-level financial summaries and data visualizations using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Coordinate financial activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely funding actions.

Interpret and apply DoD financial regulations and NAVWAR guidance; propose strategic COAs as needed.

Provide bid and proposal support if requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

An active secret clearance is required.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Ten (10) years of experience providing financial management and acquisition support to a NAVWAR program office.

Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position for part of the time and be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package. The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 per year. The role may include participation in the company 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses and other benefits. INDUS conducts regular pay comparisons to ensure fair compensation.
