We are seeking a positive, self-motivated individual with a brilliant mind who is ready to take a hands-on approach. We are seeking a Head of Finance and Accounting to join an organization with cutting-edge technology. In this pivotal role, you will lead the accounting function, ensuring precise financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and upholding compliance with financial regulations. Reporting directly to a dynamic CFO, you'll oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting, taxes, investor relations, and capital management. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management & Strategy

Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting. Develop financial strategies aligned with the company's short- and long-term goals. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions. Develop and maintain financial models to drive performance improvement. Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting principles. Identify and mitigate risks, including regulatory compliance and market fluctuations. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance standards. Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Develop and execute the company's tax strategy, ensuring efficient tax planning and compliance with local, state, and international tax laws. Oversee tax filings, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other obligations. Minimize the company's overall tax burden through tax-efficient structures, including transfer pricing, international tax, and tax credits. Work with tax advisors, legal counsel, and auditors to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Stay updated on tax reforms and developments that may impact the organization and proactively recommend adjustments to corporate strategy. Ensure effective management of tax audits and tax dispute resolution. Oversee all financial reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the organization's financial performance. Monitor key financial metrics and ensure the company maintains a strong financial position. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and reduce costs. Investor Relations & Capital Management

Lead capital fundraising efforts, including equity, debt financing, or other financial instruments. Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. Evaluate and manage the company's capital structure, ensuring optimal capital allocation. Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop and implement annual budgets, managing the allocation of resources across departments. Monitor performance versus budget, providing variance analysis and corrective actions. Update financial forecasts regularly to reflect changes in the market or business operations. Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in technology or SaaS industries. Deep understanding of financial planning, risk management, tax strategy, and compliance. Proven track record of leading fundraising efforts and managing investor relations. Expertise in financial systems, tools, and analytics. Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in the software industry preferred. Seniority level
