Overview

Partner Development Manager, Americas - Remote (Toronto, New York, Washington D.C. or Houston, TX). GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers worldwide. The company uses its satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third‑party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions. GHGSat is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partner Development Manager to expand our presence in the Americas. The role reports to the Director of Partnerships and focuses on developing and managing relationships with partners, resellers, and distributors within the Americas to increase market penetration for our satellite‑based methane emissions monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy Development: assist the Director of Partnerships in developing and implementing the partnership strategy to build a strong reseller network for satellite and aircraft‑based methane emissions monitoring solutions; identify potential partners, resellers, and distributors in target markets and industries; conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic partnerships; align regional initiatives with global business objectives.

Partner Relationship Management: develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, resellers, and distributors throughout the Americas; define joint value propositions, pricing models, and go‑to‑market strategies with partners; provide ongoing support, training, and resources to ensure partner success; track and evaluate partner performance and align with company goals.

Business Development: drive revenue growth in the Americas by expanding the reseller network and increasing market penetration; identify and negotiate partnership opportunities including reseller agreements, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances; monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform product and business development strategies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to align partnership initiatives; serve as a bridge between partners and GHGSat's direct sales force; provide regional input to product development based on partner and customer insights; work with marketing on co‑marketing programs and collateral for the region.

Reporting and Analysis: assist in tracking KPIs to measure partnership program impact; prepare reports and presentations on activities, progress, and outcomes for the Director of Partnerships and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.

Spanish language skills are an asset for communications with partners in Latin America and other Spanish‑speaking regions.

Proven track record of building and managing partnerships, reseller networks, or distribution channels, preferably within the Americas.

Experience in remote sensing sales or the environmental sustainability industry with a focus on emissions monitoring is highly desirable.

Strong business acumen and understanding of regional market dynamics and trends.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to think strategically and execute partnership strategies.

Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across time zones without direct authority.

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
