Overview
This role provides underwriting and analytical support for a busy Investment Real Estate Brokerage team in Oak Brook, IL. The Senior Financial Analyst will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred. Base pay range
$33.66/hr - $40.87/hr Responsibilities
Complete complex financial modeling, pro-formas, and other analyses in Excel with attention to detail. Assist in preparation of commercial real estate sales proposals, offering memorandums, and various client reports. Organize and review income statements, rent rolls, and lease documents for use in property valuation. Assist in acquisition/disposition processes by preparing financial analyses, including rent modeling, cash flow analysis based on NOI, cap rates, equity return, price per square foot, or other methods. Prepare financial or executive summaries for active listings. Organize and present operating statement analysis, draw objective conclusions, and make recommendations. Produce timely and accurate documents including reports, memos, proposals, charts, agreements, and presentations. From time to time, analysts may have direct contact with clients and other brokers representing prospects. Experience and core skills
1-3 years of experience in a financial analysis position. Experience in a financial analyst environment in the commercial real estate industry is strongly favored. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with CoStar or similar CRE tools is a great advantage. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, written, and communication skills. Self-driven, collaborative, and able to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word. Company overview
